Continuing Education for Nurses

The Global Integrative Medicine Academy (GIMA) allows busy nurses to achieve their professional development goals when and where they choose on any device. All courses and exams are online and on demand.

Global Integrative Medicine specializes in providing Nurses with expertise in Nutritional Medicine.  Each course is based on fully scientifically referenced, evidence-based nutritional interventions shown to improve outcomes for various common health conditions and chronic disease states.  The subject matter provides students with an in-depth understanding of the pathophysiology of each disease state at the cellular level and explains the positive and clinically attainable physiological influence of targeted dietary, supplementation and other proactive lifestyle interventions on disease outcomes, quality of life and healthy life expectancy. As the courses incorporating the most current studies into the lecture and printed materials, students can quickly develop a nutritional medicine sub-specialty within their field, expanding their scope of practice and services to provide patients with expert nutrition and lifestyle consultations.
